Hi again,

I'd imagine that, say you applied for Pilot and didn't cut the mustard at OASC, they will tell you to come back in a years time and try again, or maybe offer you other Officer/Aircrew roles available to you with a lower aptitude score required, i.e Admin/Supply.
They won't offer you ...

Hi,

Doesn't sound like you've been to the careers office but I might be wrong. This would be your best starting point by far. They will give you practice questions for the aptitude test, and an overview of what the role is about. It's worth phoning around and bases for a visit to an Air Traffic ...

PJFT - Key word being TEST. You'd be surprised how unfit some people actually are. Because the levels are so low, doesn't mean you have to stop there.

I would say it ok not the best. im hoping to join as a WSOp crewman. havnt realy set a date 2 join i wana get ma fitness up 1st.

i already do 30 press-ups and 60 sit - ups a night and try 2 do them b4 i go 2 work.

iv just got some running shoes so ill start running.

Hi,

What trade/role(s) are you considering?

The main fitness you should start focusing on is running, press ups, sit ups. These are bread and butter. What is your standard of fitness at the moment?

You'll always get paid monthly, last working day of each month.

The new pay scales are in the link provided (effective from 1st Apr 08).

Yeah looks pretty good and what Chris has given you there is spot on. I did this, or thereabouts, prior to Halton and met the standards with ease. Try combining some hill reps. i.e. steep hill about 50metres and sprint up, jog down, repeat say 5 times.

Also ensure that you do RAF standard press ...
