the berghaus munro is as it says on the tin bomb proof, i know lads that had them full of link in iraq and didnt fall apart, and you dont look like rocket man, most paras use them.

Good luck rob, i have twin lads in with 1 para, one of them was in for the feb selection for the Pf cadre, but due to iraq he couldnt get the time in on training in wales, so he is on the next cadre.

The p/f selection is done in the brecon,Over the same routes with the same kit weights as is done for the regiment. which is why you will find that most pf guys go on to do selection after they have done there time in pathfinders. my son who has been in the paras for three years is on this febs ...

Never heard that one before, the jump that the 1 and 3 para made in kuwait was before GW2 started , just for the media i think!

1 and 3 para did a jump in kuwait in full fighting kit and was over weight for the chutes, they was going to jump with the us rangers at k1 and k2 airfields to open up a second front, but turkey getting a strop on for a few weeks stopped that . after that they didnt really want the paras doing ...
