I recently just joined the TA. I got my kit issued to me tonight.

This Friday their is annual camp where i have the decision to either go or wait till they get back and then start my recruit training over the usual weekends.

Its a shame alot more young people dont take a greater intirest in our countries history.

That being said the majority of people i consider mates know a fair bit about the war.

When i did higher history at school the only thing we covered was how the Nazis went about gaining power etc in Germany ...

plus i find the fitter you are the easier it is to pick up flu etc, thats why people tend to get ill before prmc.

Should it not be the opposite?
Before i started doing any physical training i would pick up the cold at the drop of a hat but since doing so i rarely get ill.

I went to see it the other week. I didnt think much of it really. It dragged on a fair bit.

It did have one bit which made me laugh. This wooden carriage is being chased by flying demon type things and basically falls down a cliff. After falling for a fair bit the wooden carriage hits the ground ...

Had a second front not opened up in the West i think that its possible the Germans may have won the war.
