Well its the toughest course in the navy so tough infact nobody has passed it yet!.........................waits for for the barrage of abuse from the S and S branch :oops:

Dooher the RN equivalant of the loadmaster is called an aircrewman they are nco's the most junior are leading aircrewmen there is no direct entry into the branch and once you have got your wings you will do at least one frontline deployment with an ASW squadron as this will be your bread and butter ...

Loz the reason that cats hate dogs so much is because dogs are not afraid to go swimming this makes cats think that they will steal their fish, on that note they don't like grizzly bears either or the chap in the john west advert for that matter 8)

if that was the case then there would be a lot of dead sundodgers everytime a sub surfaced after a depoyment its all pressure hulls and such magic far beyond my comprehension im afraid :-? i prefer to get out of the water at the end of the day, or even better not get in it :P

Do it its great fun! ok live in week is a bit of a grind but still the sense of satisfaction at the end of the course is like nothing else you will ever feel again unless you transfer to the dark side ;) if you don't fancy seaman diver consider transering to aircrew and chase for sar diver (nutters ...

Women are not alowed on submarines because of the incredible pressures exerted on the body when 'under'. They can cause a woman to become infertile and play havoc with their insides (my dad is an ex submariner). What pressure unless it goes "tits up" the pressure is only 1 bar abs........ the real ...
