what do you think the most useful items of kit are to buy b4 going to training?
(and which are allowed to be used )
anything from a superduper steam iron to boots, or sleeping system to padlocks for lockers.

unfortunately rupert is a corrupted nickname these days.
it USED to be(b4 andy mcgrab et al) that a RUPERT was an officer from a private school, and of a 'certain' background.
And a HERBERT is an officer who comes from a grammar school, or comprehensive these days, and not terribly posh background ...

Anyone gone through basic/phase 1 recently?
im starting at ATR Winchester in mid-november, so 5 weeks away. im fairly fit, but am i fit enough?
im currently running 3miles on roads in 24 mins(hilly course), every other day.then go to gym to bike 15 mins or x-trainer.
sometimes followed by ...
