do some research into interval training and heart rate training zones.

If your running on the roads make sure your going up hills as well, and when you do go up hills, sprint up them!

I’m 21 now, 22 in December. Cut off for WSO is 25 which should give me time....

I’m going to go for the filter interview, what have I got to lose?

Update 2 - post P2 presentation

I had my P2 today from a very regimented Rock Ape officer that had done several tours in the Falklands and Afghanistan to name but a few. You could tell he was a no bull kind of guy. He gave us all the information and answered any question we had to the last detail ...

Have you been back to your AFCO to enquire about 9 Sqn and the training involved?

And when you do go into your AFCO, remember to ask for branch specific information sheets, don't do what I've done and have to go back for them!

Have you been to your AFCO and spoken to the folks in there? They can give you information about any roles you want to go for, also the hight restrictions on pilots.

Well i make a mean cuppa!

And my computer skills are excellent as I'm an IT Technician at the moment
Map reading skills also good from Scouts/D of E

Note taken, Sqn it is!

I've had a reply for RAF Benson and they said that their "Familiarization days" are booked via the the AFCO linked to that RAF station, however, they also said that all AFCO should have link's to all Familiarization days that are on offer.

My P2 is in 6 days, not that I'm ...

Update:

Ive took the time send off some emails to various RAF stations to try and get a visit as a potential officer. They are as follow's;

RAF Marham - IX (B) Sqn
RAF Waddington - 8 Sqn
RAF Brize Norton - 101 Sqn
RAF Benson - 78 Sqn
