Passed out as an original last friday with 987.

Just wanted to say that these boards were a massive help with my PRMC and just before i went into training. Always said that I would try and repay the favor by ...

Ah right cheers ofens!

Nah its not a case of I haven't told them anything, its a case of I started to get a case of Eczema around my gentle mans area (as much as you wanted to know that) so was just wondering if you had to present your private bits at any stage? Embarrassing more than anything ...

CTC Medical

Hey guys, done a search but got no results.

Passed my PRMC last week and was told we have another medical on the 2nd day of RT. Anybody have any idea what this involves? Thought they checked everything on the first medical.

Many Thanks

HybridWarrior, I read an earlier post of yours that you left RT due to shin splints, did they not let you into Hunter with shin splints or was it your choice that you left?

Cheers

Not to contradict what "letsrole" has said, as I’m sure that he knows his stuff, but when I was suffering from 'over-pronation' and the inside of my calf’s were extremely painful, my podiatrist told me to put ice on them as this will reduce blood flow, thus stopping the damaged muscle swelling up ...

Just to capital on what stoormboy said, it sounds like 'Overpronation' which I suffered from untill I got orthoric Insoles made, and they have worked wonders! So maybe look into that area.

Greg mate, get your self to an orthopedition, i had 'over pronation' where my foot roles in too much, they took a mold of my feet and then supplied me with 'cutom made' insoles - and there has been no problem since. And the guy that sorted me out says he treats people with flat feet also. And the ...

The one i do is sprint 30 seconds, jog 30 seconds, sprint 30, jog 30... and so on, and according to 'runners world' magazine - a good level of fitness is achieved when you can complete between 17/18 cycles to a good standard.

But i must say that Gerschler Fartlek is a cracking one also!

I had the same problem as you guys, and i tried all the 'off the shelf' orthotics, and they only made a small improvement. So i went to a specialist who took a mold of my feet and made some specific to my feet - they were expensive, but i haven't had anythin but a slight twitch about 4 runs since ...

I found that unarmed combat one of the hardest parts of my Aquaint Day :) Good fun though, and with the demonstrations - it just shows you why you should really pick on a RM!

I think Artist has spot on there, when i first went down for an 'informal' chat, they drilled it into my head that i should not RUN with weights, once you start your training, they will build you up to doing so!
