If you dont manage any heaves aslong as you do well at everything else and put the effort in you will pass.
True ^ I f@#k my heaves up but they still passed me. Just give your best effort in everything else.

But if you got something like RSC coming up, you might want to run it maybe 2 times a week to get yur body used to it ready for the 1.5mile test.
I do it every day, twice a day most days. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon/evening.

RSC soon

Hi I have Recruit selection centre soon, and I was wondering about the pressups. How do you have to do them? do you just thrash out as many as you can as fast as you can in the two minutes, or to you have to take your time?

is it like... downupdownupdownup

or

Down..hold...up...hold...down..hold ...

Am I right in thinking that rugby tackling someone then kicking them in the head a few times with a standard issue combat boot will do the trick?

When I was on a look at life course with 1st Princess of Wales's royal regiment, I saw them practising unarmed combat in the gym. This was in preparation for a posting to Iraq.

Light Infantry are just that - light.

They go into battle with their webbing. no warriors or saxons, just what they have on their back.
