You'll be fine mate. The cutoff point is -6 diopters, plus the AGC tend to have less stricter requirements than the direct combat regiments.

Ok mate here's the deal: the army does accept shortsightedness but the limit is approx -6. U should run down to your local army careers office and make an application just in case. Cant hurt to try.

Is it an absolute must to have A-levels to apply as a soldier for the Int corps? My recruiting officer told me they prefer people who have passed their RCB. I dont have A-levels but I have 7 o-levels including French. I also speak fluent Norwegian and German. Would this maybe compensate for not ...

received a call from the ACIO last week. Apparently the army specialist was satisfied with my surgery and I've been cleared for the RSC. Looks like u were wrong about -6 cut off point.
