well that's just ridiculous
there are some pathetically weak cadets who can barely cock it
at Mill Hill we all have to do CCF for 2 years, surely it would be easier to cock a smaller handle?
To be honest though, while it's not very good, I don't think it's worth replacing it
You guys need the money ...

I'll stand corrected, I always thought it was a full marathon
well then obviously that would be easier than the p company run

obviously the real rifle does not need to be cocked between each shot
however, when performing an NSP you need two hands to secure the cocking handle
which I would not call 'taking control of the weapon'

Cadet GP rifle

Hi all
I am a member of my school's CCF
Recently we have been doing extensive work with the cadet version of the SA80 rifle
And I couldn't help thinking it was a bag of shit
Does anybody know how much of an accurate representation the cadet rifle is to the SA80?
Or is the standard rifle crap as well?

it is tipped as a warm up for the great north run
yet I can't help thinking that 26 flat miles wearing lycra would be easier than 10 varying miles with 35lbs and a time limit
what do you reckon?

OK I asked my dad and he explained
I'm extremely sorry if I've brought up any bad memories and experiences
It is a tragic event but one that is worth knowing about
Let us end this discussion in order to avoid anymore pain

Northern Ireland

I overheard a friend of mine talking to someone about Northern Ireland and the 'idiot paras'. Why would the two be associated?
I haven't asked him as I would get a very boring lecture
In RS at school he made 9/11 sound boring
So, what happened?
Thanks

they have made it a bit better
but they've taken out all the old links
as for the para website
before it looked like it was done by a five year old
now the battalion names actually fit under their insignia
i'd better be off to specsavers though if I want to read it
the marines site is the best by far
