Just tried it this lunch time:

Run 1.5km @ 3% = 6:02 (Running machine only increases incline in whole %'s and can only reach 16kmph)
Row 1.5km @ L10 = 6:06
X-Train .4km @ L10 = 2:43
Bike 6km @ L6 = 9:42

TOTAL = 24:33

with 30 seconds rest between each.

Not a bad short session. Will try it again ...

Defence Spending – The Budget

The defence budget has been increased from £25 billion for 2003-2004 to £27 billion for 2004-2005. :laola:

It’s good to see that the politicians are realising that if they want a military that can deploy around the globe and fight – they need to pay for it. I just hope that this increase is not ...

PRE POC 19-20 March

I've been invited along to a Pre-POC being held at RMR London on the 19th - 20th March. It is to include some PT, giving lecturets and having some talks - looks like a POC squased into 1 1/2 days :o . Is anyone else going?

Mountbatten Festival of Music

Just wanted to say well done to all the RM bandies for the show they put on at the Royal Albert Hall over the weekend. Went in 2003 but this year was even more impressive due to everyone being present.

How about a section where people can enter the date they go for a PRMC, POC, start Basic or anything else and it can be viewed as a calendar, making it easier for people to find out who is going down at the same time?

POC's run about once a week from November to May then slow down a bit to once a fortnight maybe having a break during the summer, i think. I'm sure you can do POC's for Sep 05 entry from July/August 2004 onwards.

I'm just starting to kick my training into overdrive as my POC is 14 weeks on Monday ...
