The worst place I was ever lumbered with was Ramillies barracks Aldershot. I was with an RAF squadron performing at the Farnborough air show and the barracks were where we had to sleep, rough as hell, partly demolished and we set the scene when we arrived there by upsetting a junior Army officer ...
