I`m a personal trainer with previous experience of service. I would reccommend you get out on the roads as often as you can, If possable try find an area you can run on grass or sand its easier on the feet.
Your upper body strength is fine, but it could slow you down if you keep training heavy ...

Anyone tell me the max age you can be to still be considered and put forwards for selection. I know you must have three years satisfactory service behind you.

Can anyone give me a half decent idea of the kind of fitness tests you perform in selection?? (SAS)
