I've got a pair of Brooks Addiction, and they've served me really well, I highly recommend them. Especially good if you pronate when running.
Cheers,
Josh.
Check it out, Independently targetting particle-beam phalanx. VWAP! Fry half a city with this puppy. We got tactical smart-missles, phased plasma pulse-rifles, RPG's. We got sonic electronic ballbreakers, we got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks..."

My pair of asics are brilliant, any of their models will probably be fine.

Insert second line here.

Search in the Marines forum, there's quite a lot of helpful threads in there. Personally, I just stick to good old Nike Airs

Nike Air Pegasus - £60. Can't beat 'em.

Also, when I was out for a run I tweaked a muscle in my back last night. Nothing major - just a bit uncomfortable. I got some "Deep Freeze" spray from Boots, about £4. This stuff is the business! Recommend it to anyone.

You best bet is to go to a specialist running store and buy a pair as they will have a good look at your feet shape, size etc and you should get a very comfy pair. I have a pair of asics and the are awesome, i can't believe i even manged to run in the pair I used to have.

Deep heat is good as well, I got a cheap version and it burns like f**k but it works. I put it on my shins, it took my mind of the shin splints because it felt like my skin on my shin had been taken off with a razor. Try getting in the shower afterwards to test your pain threshold..
