Any GOOD Helpful Links?

Post by Kanadiana »

Hi Everyone ...

I'd really appreciate it big time if any of you
would let me know of any good online info, links
and sites that would be helpful for people
with PTSD. I want to add these links to my forum
where everyone coming thru there can have at them.

Military type links are great, and wanted, but
bear in mind that my own little forum is for anyone
with ptsd issues related to any type of experience that
may have caused the problem. (many mmbers are military types/related, but many are NON-mil related)

Links for SPECIFIC types/groups wanted too :)

My forum focus is about sharing info, being supportive
through talk and sharing resources and possible solutions to
deal with it all and ... progress.

Thanks!

Kanadiana Karmen (hey... where's your SMOKERS ICON SMILEY?) :( :D

What type of military sites are you looking for? Forums, Individual unit websites give me an idea and I'll sort you out.

Thanks HavocIRL,

Anything is good. From anywhere in the world, but mostly Canada, USA, and Yurrup Eng. NZ. Australia etc ;)

Other forums are great too, so people can shop around til they find one or some thats works for them.
Especially "PTSD Specific forums" or groups.

Military sites. Mental Health sites. Health. Womens. Mens.
Advocacy for disability sites etc.

Personal websites and stories, especially ones that give hope and inspiration (been there, done that, better and better all the time" sorta thing.

Keywords for forums would be "self-help, peer support, finding professional support"

I hope this gives a better idea of what I mean ?:)

Anothr way to say it ...is... IFyou suffer PTSD what sorts of info and sits would help YOU? Thjey'll probably be good for my forum:)

Thanks.

There are 3 military forums that I know of:

This one

www.irishmilitaryonline.com

www.militaryphotos.net

I don't know if they are what you're looking for but I'll let you decide that.

Thanks ... I'll check them out right away and see what they have regards ptsd.

Also ... cool ... I was told I have some IRISH blood in me
but I've yet to find the Irish in my geneology. I've got the Blarney tho ;)

Enjoy your day/evening.
