Why did you choose your username?

Post by minimac »

I was just wondering how people came about to their usernames.

MiniMac: Im mini, and my name is MacDonald (do not laugh, we have more heritage than most)

Was wondering about obscure ones such as Owdun, Cronkilla, El Prez, Skiffle, Sticky Blue etc etc.

My surnames Campbell. In the Falklands the american singer Archie Campbell was very popular.

The delightful and fragrant local beauty Trudy Biggs aka "Wingnut" decided that it should be my monicker and it sort of stuck.

My user name was my army nick name, as they all thought I looked like the film star with a similar name. Well when you think of some the nick names given out, i found I could happily live with that name.

Behold, on the 8th day He awoke, scratched his nuts and said, "Jesus something nasty down there!", forgetting he was still in creator mode; there was a rush of flatulance, a burst of light and whoa......... one El Prez, who has remained true to the trade descriptions act ever since......... Something nasty down there. 8)

1st name is Gordon. The Gore nickname came years ago when it was established that I took no SH*T on the streets.
(resulting in blood and GORE).

A computer game came out recently also... Gore the Ultimate Soldier.

The D is the first letter of my surname.

Gore.
Mexican bandit, "Badges?! We don't need no stinking badges....."
Major Kong, "Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in vegas with all that stuff....."
Gore, "The first casualty of war is your underpants....."

My friendds call me rambo, this was started on a drunken night out where i was attacked by four lads outside a pub. So i found myself taking on all four of them, as my friends watched through the window in shock. They kinda came to the conclusion that it wa something rambo would do in first blood. I juat kind of laughed and got on with the drinking. They`ve called me it ever since.

I am not a very creative person so I just choose to use my name (Rob) and then stick my middle initial next to it! (j) ;)
