The worry never stops ,lads, mine is 46,and grandkids are from 22 down
to 6 and they worry the life out of the missus and me,
We could ,of course, reduce the risks,by hanging the low life bastards, but
that would upset our betters.

Sadly, the problems we now face are the result of seeds sown in the early '70's,when "liberal" teachers began telling kids "call me by my first name" & instead of sitting in rows, learning by rote (I bet most of us can remember our "times tables") ? ... the kids were encouraged to pull up a beanbag & "discuss" lessons.

NOW ... those kids have grown up & some of them are Politicians,Lawyers & senior Police Officers ... all desperately keen to embrace the "flavour of the Month cause" .. especially if it might enhance their careers !

People no longer respect the Police & who can blame them, given some of their recent ridiculous schemes.
We now live in a World, where crime pays, because someone else is always to blame & God forbid ! .... if a criminal is arrested, there are umpteen organisations "gagging" to help them (19 at the last count) & only TWO National Organisations helping the victims ! .... that just about sums this Country up !

The recent tragic events in Cambs,Sussex & elsewhere surely demonstrate a need for potential criminals to fear the consequences of their actions ... much as small-time drug dealers fear the consequences of crossing the Big-timers .... I doubt this will happen in the lifetime of this Government ... given that most are former student radicals !

Oh,well time to put the soap-box back in the cupboard under the stairs !

Hi Guys
The biggest problem of all this is
when most of these "Monsters"
are found their defence is
"Voices Telling Them To Do It"
the next thing we hear is they only
get a min sentence with treatment.

"What kind of world is it turning into?"

I wish to become a civil servant, the job that I would like to apply for would be the job of Albert Pierrepiont. It's a pity that he had to take early redundency, as the task in hand was never, and has never been completed.

I would not have any sleepless nights about it as I would be in the full knowledge that it was a job well done.

Just like ridding my garden of magpies, jackdaws, slugs and snails.

Oh don't you just love, bloody do gooders!!??!!

Think I'll just go hang around in the pub.

Yorks,

Uncanny ?,that you should mention Albert Pierrepoint & Pubs in the same post,'cos if memory serves me right upon "retirement",Albert took a pub in Lancashire called "Pity Help the poor Struggler" ... who's sign depicted someone doing the gallows jig at the end of the "Drop"

 'Yorkie Malone',I've still retained the orders and proceedure of the the public Hangman, from Prison Service days,I thought they may come in handy one day,but alas too many do-gooders are now in power and I doubt very much whether we we see the likes of the 'topping shed'again, point of interest the Prison Officers who attended the Hanging,
got the rest of the day off.better go before the 'Home Office' come knocking on the door, for giving all the secret's away  Aye jr

correct me if I`m wrong lads, but didn`t Enoch Powell see the writing on the wall,Rivers of Blood etc, if only the politicians had took heed then, we would surely be living in a better world, when do we get the first black PM? we already have Mayor`s of various races. I echo oldun and mike, let the mothers have them for an hour, and then hang the Bastards, but at least we can be assured, that when they do eventually get sent down, they`ll have a very warm welcome, from the Lifers, just like the guy who got slashed a couple of weeks ago, I`m sure the warders would turn a blind eye for a second or two, I surely would in their shoes.

The rules on police checks have recently been changed to prevent anyone who has changed their name from getting anywhere near kids unless they disclose their initial identity and show the reason why they changed.
I firmly believe that punishment is first and foremost TO PUNISH and not to "re-habilitate." Once someone has started down the sex offender route, they will continually re-offend. Chemical castration isn`t enough. If the rule was one offence and they come off, how many of these sick bastards would cross the line? And if there are any do-gooders left who are in any doubt about the Hackster`s liberal tendancies, I am totally in favour of capital punishment for murdering children. Be that a sexual pervert or an Irish terrorist blowing up children in Warrington.

On a lighter note, Jim did you ever do the old gag on a rainy day escorting one to the topping shed?
"It`s f***ing all right for you. I`ve got to walk back in this"

:D 'Harry'old chum, the short walk to the gallows was very short
the topping shed was allways next to the condemmed cell, most of the condemmed cells have now been converted into office accomodation within in the Prison Wing,I am sure that one Prison retained the death cell, and I think that would be 'Wormwwod scrubs'.Its a pity we dont go back a couple of hundred years and have a Gallows at every Major X roads
there I go again,I'm sure the home office will come and get me soon,Still I dont mind, whilst inside I could play snooker, watch colour tv,three meals a day,and even if I'm a good lad I could get a Day job at a theatre near the 'nick' or maybe devote all my time in thinking about how to claim compensation.(I am a cynical old Bastard),but when you;ve been there, done it,and got the T-shirt,you can afford to be.Aye jr
