George Duncan

George passed away in the Freeman Hospital Newcastle on the 31st July after taking ill earlier in the day.

Funeral details to follow.

George was a member of 469 squad, joining the Corps in 1947 and was a driver at RM HQ. He was a good loyal supporter of the branch and although in weak physical health was very sharp mentally and always had some good stories to tell. He will be much missed at the branch meetings and we send our deepest condolences to his family.



Julius (Pat) Petterson

The ashes of Cpl Petterson will be committed to the deep, at the entrance to the river Tyne on Friday 30th August. Parade at Anzio House RMR Tyne 1850 hrs, for guard of honour, prior to departure of Port of Tyne Authority Harbour Master's cutter with committal party. Dress:- blazer, beret & medals.
