I think there is someone on the nominations committee with a sense of humour and irony!

How did they reduce the threat of war with WMDs? Isnt a cluster bomb a WMD?

I hear it's been put forward by a Norwegian chap called Jan Simonsen.

I'm suprised no-one in power has never commented on the irony of the US, who hold the largest stocks of WMD on the planet, leading an invasion of Iraq on the basis that the Iraqi's might have some nasty stuff hidden away.

Ive always found it ironic that Bush went to war to 'prevent a war'.

Yeah I agree give em the prize along with the world. Deep down you can't enjoy an award you know you don't deserve.

They could join the list of previous undeserving recipients.

I may agree with him sending the troops into Iraq, what I can't forgive is sending them in under equipped, so as not to upset some of the Labour MP's. On this alone I would not give it to him.

If they were to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, would they pass on their prize money to the families of the dead and maimed coalition troops? I somehow doubt it.

Aye - Andy.

They are to vain and narcisistic to do that.
