Do you have to be a TA Para to do TA p-coy or can Infantry soldiers from other TA units apply, cos Im in the TA but not Para. I would like to give it a shot if i could and how would I apply.

Why not ask your PSI what the deal is with P-Coy.

I will hopefully be starting 4Para training later this year and have a question which may seem obscure but is very relevent for me today, and I need to know the answer.

Do 4 Para do the All-Arms P-Coy with the Regular Young Officers and regular attatched arms, or do 4 Para and other TA units have a separate P-Coy specifically for them?

A simple answer is all I seek.

Cheers.

The TA don't have to do the night jump, so I am told.

What miss the night jump, cor it is some thing to do that one, you jump out into nothing then wait to hit the ground, great for thrill seekers.

I find that a bit hard to believe considering 80% of Battalion jumps are done at night!!

Well, it struck me as a bit stupid. But then when I was at Brize the RAF refused to fly at weekends and on a bank holiday.
