German recce bag. I had one, they are about as warm as wrapping yourself in paper. Ditch it and get a good pussers one. They are OK on an OP when you won't be getting much sleep any way and they make a natty coat for field use but they are not water proof at all!
Drums beating, colours flying and bayonets fixed...
