BNP

Post by Smilie-man'81 »

The BNP are getting stronger all the time. Im not a supporter of them but this country (me included) is getting fed up of giving up our traditions and identity so not to offend people. Maybe the fact that the BNP are doing well will be a wake up call for the other partys so they realise what the country wants. Then again, they probably won't!

Tory Councillor Defects to BNP

AN anti-fascism organisation has expressed its outrage after a Conservative councillor defected to the far-right British National Party.

Sabby Dhalu, joint secretary of Unite Against Fascism, said the decision by Geoffrey Wallace, from Halifax, West Yorkshire, was a disgrace.

Mr Wallace has become the third BNP councillor on Calderdale Council and the first ever sitting councillor from a mainstream political party to defect to the far-right group. The BNP now has 17 councillors across the country.

Ms Dhalu said: "The defection by the Conservative Party councillor to the British National Party is a disgrace. We call on Michael Howard and the Conservative Party nationally to condemn Geoffrey Wallace's defection to the BNP and send out a clear message that the Conservatives are opposed to the BNP.

"The BNP pretends it is a legitimate political party - it is not. The BNP is a fascist, racist organisation full of criminal thugs, and calls for an all-white Britain."

Mr Wallace, 55, has held his Illingworth seat for nearly four years. He told the Halifax Courier his decision had come "from the heart".

The construction worker blamed the growing influence of the European Union and the "effervescence and vibrancy" of the BNP for his decision.

"It is a bold move but it's a move that I had to take. I do not like cheating anybody with regards to standing by my principles but most of all I don't like cheating myself. I had to change and as such I will face the consequences whatever they may be," he said.

"The reasons for my defection are based around concerns of the increasing influence of the European Union interfering and the gradual erosion of the British person to openly express and celebrate their culture."

Richard Corbett, MEP for Yorkshire and Humberside, said: "I am appalled but sadly not surprised that a Conservative member has defected to the BNP."

I'm also not a BNP supporter and i agree with you fellas. The poor white communities have being deprived of funding for years in favour of mainly asian + black inner cities, which has being done to make britain look more multi cultural and that the Govt listeins to ethnic minorities etc.

The BNP have changed their words and ways but if they got in power i think most of us would know what would happen.

I will nail my colours to the mast!

If a BNP candidate stands in the constituency I live in and the status quo that exists within the manifestos from lib/Lab/Con I will vote for them.

Nothing scary Dave M in my mind, I would feel that I would sleep better at night, more police on the street, the only thing we have running for us at the moment is a strong economy, I want to see the Great put back into Britain again. I looked at the fervour on the streets of London yesterday and that is how I want to see this country of ours run, 750000 showing their colours which is my colours, it is time to reclaim our flag, not like Blunkett proclaimed after the last Euro Soccer Championships.

This country belongs to Britain, not some 3rd world banana republic

Well said Spannerman, couldn't have put it better myself.

However, like Dave.Mil I do still feel slightly uneasy about what exactly the BNP would do if they gained power. I have black, asian and even ginger friends (though no gays) I would not want to see them hounded in their own country. Especially as they are more pro-British than many 'true british' whites (though I think this partly comes from us all having been in the cadets together and wanting to join the forces).

Just on the subject of the Rugby parade, it was mentioned on another thread how prevalent the St George Cross was as oppose to the Union Flag (not Union Jack!). I am glad that we are finally reclaiming our national flag. It was only a few years ago (during Football World Cup 1998) that one of my mates had the police come around and tell him to take down his St George Cross in his window as it may offend minorities. His dad (ex-Para and ex-SAS officer - gen) had a big stand up argument with them during which they admitted they didn't agree with it but they were being made to enforce it by the top brass.

The thing is that drives like these to remove our national flag only create resentment towards minorities (and politicians) rather than creating the feeling of unity that the politicians want.

Anyway, that's my two pence.

Wasn't it over Lambeth Town Hall a few years ago that the council used to fly the Trotsky Red Flag?

It's a wonder that the fishmongers from the new Billingsgate didn't march on that little lot!

i dont think they would or could send back everyone...maybe take away the race card these people play when they get into trouble or things dont go there own way.....for example in mcdonalds today me and a friend got some ballons......we got ours took off us as we were not little kids, fair enough but then there was an asian with one with no kids in toe and was alloud to keep it!! i asked why he was aloud his and i got the answer "becasue!".....geuss why!

i think the BNP will show what the country wants! pride and patriotism....sod banning christmas cards and patron saint days!!! its our country...to be fair if they dont like it they dont have to join in! they can ignore it and get on with it as we have to do with hannouka (spellin) and all the others....there alloud to advertise there festivals and we arnt!

same is happening in Italy aswel...a muslim leader is trying to make schools take down there crucifix's .....common get real ey boys!

i will vote BNP with every intention of them getting into power as we need to make this counrty BRITISH!!!

i am not racist against people who are he for good reasons as they bring us good things ie curry and chineeses! but people who use our health and sod off, illegally get here.."loose" there papers passports etc and claim asylam or just disapear....fair play if they are been perscuted in iraq, iran etc but when they go through 30 safe countries, pay thousands for it and get hear and give a balls case for staying its a no no!

The government thinks that by taking down St George flags and giving up our festivive holidays they wont offend the miniorities but all the are doing is making everyone resent them being here. This will create a hate towards them and make everyone a racist in the end because they'r e fed up of it all.
At work my boss is always complaining about it and says that he wasnt racist before but he's begining to become one. I hear that same thing from a lot of people and that number is increasing all the time.
I can see a huge backlash against this soon!

If I were at voting age I'd vote for the BNP, I think they could do alot of good for the country and if they "turn bad" (ie nazi party) I don't think the Britsh people of the 21st century would stand by like the Germans in the 1930's/40's. I want a Briton in power not a European.

Aldo, you get the star on the pavement when you are as famous as Ozzie Osbourne (aaaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!) but when the BNP are voted in, the drug pushers that supply to the likes of the cult stars will be going around singing with high voices.
