Just had a look at the site johno, simple but affective. :)

Did you build the site yourself, I just downloaded the Fighting Corps mp3, just fancied a listen.

Are you your self on any of them, mp3 or video ?

Simple but affective: Sounds like me...Simple ! and yes I built the site myself. Not fantastic, but it works. Maybe it will get better in time.

As for the tune, I recon its the "drummers call". Correct me if I'm wrong. Played at the begining of the Beat Retreat on Horse guards. Good bit of sight reading or what?

Myself and Sticky Blue are in a majority of the recordings and I am on the RBL 2000 Vid and the Fleet Reveiw one as well. Smartest bloke on parade, you can't miss me :)

See you in the countermarch!

There is a closet drummer on here and I'll have to PM you his name... I pointed him to your site a while back and suffice to say he plays with sticks that you might recognise  they look just like the white ones without any paint.
I gave Steph a copy of her track today and choo choo gave her an MPeg of it as well. Disc in the post mate nudge nudge wink wink

That's the best way I feel to approach building a web site, Simple but affective, that's how I was taught.

Sticky Blue started me off on Web Design and said exactly the same thing.

As for his playing talent, "No comment".......only kidding :D

He's better off swinging a pole at the front of the Band, with his spray on trousers and a think red bandy stripe down each leg!

Spray on trousers, are you telling me Sticky's better at swing's his pole about with no trousers on, than his music talent. :o :-?

Jason... I'm not that kinky!

What he is refering to are that Drum Majors wear 'overall' trousers. They are skin tight and look like Ron Hills. Because the fasten under the boots and the braces pull them up, they look even tighter!

Thanks for the compliment

I am the one with the huge pole! See, my reputation is worldwide now  It isn't how big the nail is though mate... I don't do much in front of the band these days if any at all... I qualified in 97 (I think!) My last gig was Nov 11th but that was only to help the lads out because they were strapped for manpower, and I'm an all round good egg as well.

Jason

I played the Military Side Drum and Bugle along side Sticky Blue a fair few years ago. Having a crack at real drumming now with a "Jock" band in Exeter. The other week I helped out with the Lympstone Brass Band as well, but that was a percusion snare drum. Pants peice of kit!

Sticks(1+2) any chance of putting some old and bold marches on, and Division calls, from the days when we actually had the three divs.
