The Age Differance

in todays modern society, where we have career women, working like billy "o" and then having childeren when they are about 40, is there a need to worry about the age differance between one partner and the other? we all know women have toy boys, but how many men have younger women? Your thoughts Please.

Age difference gets more and more irreverent the older you get, for example an age difference of five years is nothing if the girl is older than 20, but when she’s 15, 16,17,18,even 19 it can seem a little strange, and vice versa... but then again there aren’t many women with someone younger than them by 5 years are there...

does it really matter about the age of someone you either have feelings or you dont --------its your heart that decides not your your feelings not you rbody calculator(sorry cant think of th ecorrect terminoligy) i think if you like the book sod the cover

Up to a point age is relevant like lew said. In secondary school girls seemed to go for the older guy.....boys did not (girls). Why?, is it a control thing? Later and later in life, where you generally meet people from different age brackets more often without knowning it, it will be irrelevant once you get talking and click so to speak.

Depends what your into i geuss, some is frowned upon more than others and some is down right sick, but people are people and we all have different emotions what one persons disgust is another persons perception of love?

In a modern society, where class barriers have been removed more than previously and people marry into other classed more commonly with less aggrovation, age still plays an important part.

Age maybe the lass boundry to be removed but not for a while where there is such an obsession with pervets etc....it will still be frowned upon to some extent... few years is nothing anything about 7 8 9 or 10 years is spooky to me after the age of 22.

dont get me wrong i am not into pervs

what we are on about and i think bootneck is refering to is concenting!!!adults thats were the age difference is acceptable

god forbid any pervs who go for young boys or girls they need sorting

but in adults age should not be such an issue
i am off for a brandy now and a chill (with a 19 year old) ha he is my son
(sorry for the joke but needed to lighten the tone )

When I was 19 I went out with a Royal Marine who was 34 we stayed together until I was 27. I then met a lovely man in the RAF who was 22 I was a little apprehensive about the age difference but he was such a mature person that his age was never an issue admittedly we didn't last very long but it had nothing to do with his age. So my opinion has to be no age doesn't make a difference however I do get a little concerned when I see a mid 30's guy going out with an 18 yr old even though I have been in that position. I'm not sure why it bothers me, just that it does.

have to agree there, dont think age matters at all when both people are over the age of 20. but i must say michael douglas is one bloody lucky git to bag someone as gorgeous as catherine zeta jones at his age!!
