Did you say that all in one breath? or did you forget the punctuation?
I'm sure that someone with more experience will answer your question.

well if his mates/colleagues find out he will probably get filled in for hitting a bird and if the MPS get involved... stand by!
Not to mention all of the other issues that may drag up such as why? drink problem? suitable for service?
Actually come to think of it (I only had bother in my time with MPs) now I think if a squaddie gets into bother with civvy police he automatically gets into bother with military police too. So rest assured his world is now a whole bowl full of pain. Hope you get over your assault - not all squaddies are like that, he cant handle his ale.

Your right Gunner, RMP's will take over from civvie street if your still serving.
I for one use to call them red cap barstewards... (no offence peeps)
I cant remember who was ex-rmp on here now, i know someone is. ;)
But at the end of the day, they are great guys just doing their job like the rest of us did.
We always hate someone when were in trouble. :)

Sorry but your wrong, RMP will not get involved as he was on leave and it wasnt on Forces property.
Long gone are the days of double punishment civi/Army.
If he gets a prison sentence then he will be thrown out of the Army.
He wont go in front of the old man to get charged for assault.

More importantly why do you as the victim want to know?? surely police involvement is enough??
I also find it hard to believe a guy would walk into your house and punch you in the face without provocation?
