Everything's kind of up in the air with us at the moment, due to a couple of different aircraft types going out of service in the next few years.
I would say your best bet is to speak to the AFCO, and ask to go to a P2 presentation, and if possible, get to RAF Cranwell on the last Thursday of the month for one of the OASC open day type things, where you will get briefs from various officer/aircrew types.
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.
