I am William & I am in my last stages of joining the British Army as a Musician. I have been in the Air Cadets for 6 years.
Are there still 3 RAF Bands? As I heard that 1 may be disbanded?
I am often at RAF Uxbridge - doing Air Cadet activities, which is where the Central Band of the RAF is stationed...does anyone know what will happen to them when RAF Uxbridge shuts? Will they move down the road to RAF Northolt?
Just generally interested, I may be joining the Corps of Army Music but being in the Air Cadets for 6 years working with RAF Musicians, the RAF Music Services I'll always respect.
