Celebrated the daughter's 20th birthday last Saturday in a Turkish restaurant up Hanley, duck. Imagine our surprise when one of our little favourite barmen from 8 years ago in Fethiye walked in!
Danced ourselves dizzy!

Is there any cake left Flighty?

No birthday cake, Mike, but a fair old chunk of my first ever Christmas cake awaits your attention.
By gum, you wouldn't pass a breath teast after a gobful of it! There must be a litre or so of brandy in it post-baking.

I'm sure it's the most magnificent Christmas cake to ever bless the Earth with it's presence Flighty.
That said, with that much brandy in it I probably wouldn't remember trying it anyway....

Tom169 .... you are an hour away from no 6.
You would be most welcome to join Moikey and Stokey at a fun-filled weekend chez nous!
Lifts available from Crewe station. :multi:

Thanks, I don't know what a chez nous is but it sounds fun
. Quite busy at the minute with work and training but i'd love to pop round some time and meet you all properly before I go to training.

Just make sure you have your medical
before going and make sure the area is clear of fireworks....
Sounds mega though Flighty! Still owe the solicitor £80 mind.
