3 miler

Post by wanabeamarine »

hi guys,

iv had a quick look in the forums but couldnt fint anything on this.

is the three miler run as a group in 1.5 miles in 12.5 mins then best effort 1.5 miles back in under 10 mins? this is what i was told by a mate but im looking for some clarification off someone who has recently been on PRMC.

also do you think it would be good to train like this?

sorry if this has already been answerd somwhere.

cheers

1.5 miles as a troop, 12.30, a quick stop, then 1.5 miles best effort back the way you came, time allowed is 10.30 for this leg.

Who cares what the timings are?

Run best effort 4 miles.

Run intevals.

Do Sprints.

Do cycling and swimming. It won't be a problem. I think people get too hung up on timings and distances than actually doing the training.

Get out there and do it. Push yourself every time. When you get to Lympstone you'll have nothing to worry about.

803tp is right.

First time I tested my 3 miler time was at ... PRMC
First time I tested my Bleep Test Score was at ... PRMC
First time I tested my Pull Ups Score was at ... PRMC.

In your head you'll know whether or not you're ready.
