Hi+ a few questions

Hi all. first off just wanted to say this is a fantastic site.

I’m currently living in Australia studying at university but thinking of leaving however. I’m 18 years of age and I’m a Australia/dual British citizen. The jobs I’m looking at joining as are seaman specialist, communications or warfare specialist

The questions I have are
1.Are these jobs popular and hard to get in to?
2.Are there many Australians in the RN and will they care that I'm Australian and applying for the RN?
3.Will they look at me dropping out of university in a bad way and will it be a significant issue?
4. How long will the whole recruitment process take due to time restraints coming from overseas

Few questions

Well I do remember meeting a Para in 2 para who was Australian,
He did say that it was a longer process due to how far away he was, but itwas well worth joining the British forces.

I would ring an AFCO up, possibly London to say it maybe the best place you can get to through the process. Depending how you stick things out might be a question as I have had the same problem before as I came out of Army training at 3/4 months.. but you should like I say, just ring an AFCO up and ask for more information.
