RAF Training

Post by Nick18 »

Hey everyone, I am hoping to join the RAF next year if I pass my maths and physics GCSE that I am resitting.
Does anyone have any advice on the type of training I can do to get in.
I'm not the fittest but I am determined to become so.

Hi,

What trade/role(s) are you considering?

The main fitness you should start focusing on is running, press ups, sit ups. These are bread and butter. What is your standard of fitness at the moment?

Search on here for fitness tips, or google.

I would say it's ok, not the best though. I'm hoping to join as a WSOp crewman. I haven't really set a date to join as I want to get my fitness up to scratch first.

I already do 30 press-ups and 60 sit - ups a night and try to do them before I go 2 work.

I've just got some running shoes so I'll start running.

Sounds like you've got a lot of work to do.

What preparation for WSOp have you done so far?
