mistakes

Post by -luke-Rm- »

Its' been a long time since I've been on here. I joined 920 troop back in 2006 and left in week 14. What a mistake!

I am really thinking of going back in, really not coping well in civvy street. Just thought I would pop back on here and say hello and answer any questions people wish to ask about the first 13 weeks. Still got all my notes from all the lectures, lol.

Why did you leave in the first place Luke, and how old are you mate?

I am 18 now, was 17 when I was in my troop. I don't really know why I left, I wasn't having any problems. My section Cpl was really shocked when I spoke about it to him. Just one of those things I guess.

Well well well, GGHT, my ol' oppo. The amount of press-ups we did together mate lol. Still get the chills when you hear "you lot can stand by"

We had some great times. What section where you in again?

2 Section!
I'll never forget the whole troop passing out in unison in that lecture by the Warrant Officer in about week 6. He left the room for five minutes and there were lads sleeping across the seats, trying to grab any sleep possible lol.

Ive never experienced a place that makes such an impression as Lympstone.

lol i remember the room and everything, how odd. funny though :D

i miss it so much. The only thing stopping me is my girlfriend ( i know LOL )

I used to laugh so hard when lads would call our Sgt, Cpl accidently. He used to go mad but 1 time he just had to walk away coz he couldnt bear it. It happened on the bus after exercise.

LOL I remember after Hunters Moon, 4 days with no sleep, the whole troop gagging just to go home on leave, waiting on the stairs for rail warrants and Sgt B*nne* making a certain member of the troop do hundreds of bastards for doing that.! Harsh, he was so fit though didnt seem to make a difference! Top lad he was.

Thats right! We got off hunters moon and Sgt expected all our kit washed and ready for inspection lmao. Then he said he's going home because he has had enough.

I liked Hunters Moon, falling waist deep in a swamp when it's pitch black on a night nav with 3 other guys who didn't have a clue what was going on. LOL.

He did actually drive off lol but came back. He knew his mind games alright, experience I guess. A mate of mine from here in Wales is in 40 and our old troop Sgt is his now in Afghanistan.
