I'm doing C3 systems in the RE. Just passed selection at ADSC Glencorse and starting basic on 16th June at Pirbright. What job you doing?

Not sure at the moment it's either going to be driver or c3, what did you get on the mile and a half run?.

Aren't you doing basic at ATR Lichfield? Have you got your joining dates yet?.

I was meant to be but I rang up the careers office yesterday and they told me I'm now off to Pirbright on June 16th.

Why do you have to wait so long until basic ?

Yeah that is quite a wait until you start basic, isn't it? Did he explain y you weren't training at Lichfield?.

Lichfields getting closed down and everything's getting swapped around.

Is everyone whos going in the engineers going to have to wait a while to start basic?

Not sure, my mate is in Lichfield now training and he's been told he will be the last troop to train there. And the corporals where telling us whats happening with all the ATR's but they didnt say when it's all starting.
