RMT Time Scales / Tattoo's

Post by Stacka83 »

Hi Guys,

My employer is starting to give me grief wanting to know how long its going to be untill i leave.

Can any one tell me assuming i pass PRMC the time scale from my point Psycometric on 13th Dec, to PRMC, and then in turn to RMT.

Second question is, i have a tattoo on my left fore arm, nothing cheesy or ghastly just a bit of art....will i be accecpted with this? My Recruiting officer wasnt too fazed by it and said its down to the medical officer? Any lads that have gone through Medical Checks with tattoos like me please let me know. Put me mind at rest.....also what do they check in a medical check?

I heard it varies greatly. Sometimes in the space of weeks and other times in months. Hope this helps.

It all depends on how many places are available really, also how good you came across during your PRMC so a winger of mine who is still in after 34 years. WO1 (sigs) Yeoman of Signals RM.

As I said I'm not best qualified to give you a proper answer. Neither are people who ain't done it yet either.

I can refer you to my article titled Medical Madness which will cover everything I was checked for.
