Possible oopsie

Post by Hellbreather »

Hi guys,

I took 4 months off applying for the Marines as my daughter was born 12 hours before my interview (up another 24 before then)

I have recently re-applied and have my interview coming up, but I have a few problems.

I said I had no tattoos I now have one do I have to fill out my application form again

How picky are they on the security questionnare? As I started to write an N but changed it to a T now it looks like a badly written T

Hope you guys can clear this one up for me so I dont have to phone up again :P

Alrite mate!, glad to hear you're back on 'Bootie Road' again. :)
With the security questionnaire if you make a mistake just fill in the box you made a mistake in and carry on from the next box simple as.
Regarding the tattoo i'd consult either your AFCO or Ninja_Stoker on this site as he knows his doodad but i think that you'd have to let your AFCO know and either refill in another application or he'd add the extra details ontop of what you already filled in, however keep in mind no tattoos can be on your hands or neck and above.
Good luck mate!

Cheers mate and trust me it feels good too :D

The security questionaare I already wrote the whole name out and the mistake is right in the middle so Id have to cross out like 3 boxes but as long as it doesnt matter I dont mind.

Ill phone him tomorrow and just make sure that I don't need to fill in another application (I got like 4 lying around I think unless I threw them away) and dont worry the tattoo is on my upper arm.

*Goes back to revising :P *

Any other comments welcome

Congrats on your daughter being born mate that's great news. I wouldn't worry about it really as long as your tattoo isn't clearly visible, offensive or excessive in size they wont care. I have a tattoo on my upper right arm which my AFCO asked about. They clearly stated that as long as its not over the top then it's ok.

Just the security questionaire to sort out cause obviously I'll fail it.
I'll have to ring up my AFCO tomorrow and ask what to do.
