Smartie Tubes

Post by K Connelly »

Hi guys I was watching the endurance course on youtube and would like to know how difficult the smartie tubes are to get through. Im quite claustrophobic and I'm kind of shitting myself now after watching it because there is one tube that is meant to be long as hell. If any one has been through them it would be great to hear from you thanks.

You'll probably be too busy hanging out your hoop to worry

No-one has ever made it through to the other side!

Some people say that they're actually the entrance to wormholes, and that if you crawl through them you'll end up in a galaxy far, far away.

It's true, ask your uncle Billy.

They are kinda claustrophobic I guess. They are tight and it is difficult to pull yourself through them. Some parts you have to kinda angle your head to keep your mouth out of the water. But I guess you just have to crack on

WOW you guys this is beautiful i have never seen so many post that or so well erm in a way helping the guy not to get worked up about them, i mean i would not call my self small but jesus christ, the bigger people get stuck i wish i never clicked on this thread lol.
Go in tactically if you crawl with speed when you get stuck all your weight will shift forwards unstucking you .
Just wondering if you do get stuck what do you do, do you have to lay a big steaming dump in your pants hoping that some guy out side will smell you :D
P.S. I duno if this make sense

I tried to get through one of the smartie tubes once, I could only fit one of my fingers in at a time though.

Im quite a big guy and i found them ok (without kit though), its a bit unnerving when you first get into them, especially if its half full of water, but like someone else said, you've just gotta crack on, the faster you go the faster itll be over, simple as. Having someone ahead of you panicking is definately not funny though, i had it on one of the smaller tunnels at the begginning, managed to kick me in the face :x
