May sound a strange question, but if you dont have the room to practice, can you do it over 10m and just run to the line and back to count as one lap?

Doing the 10m back and fourth won't really be a realistic test. You won't be ramping up to your top speed as you would with an extra 10 m's. You might find this way makes it better, cause you might learn to accelerate faster back and fourth, however you might be slower / more exhausted in the long run when running quicker at the PRMC. Just my opinions.

As long as your still practising longer sprints and working on endurance then it would be good pratice, you won't score as high though. Most people struggle on the turns and accelerating out of the turn, so getting some practice for that would be benificial.

did the bleep test today. Got to level 12.2 and voluntarily pulled out which was stupid as i could have gone on. Will try again on sun. The only thing i found that i did was ocassionally move before the bleep had gone.

MadAd, no offence but what you're saying sounds like you're knackered, but could go on, but choose not to to take the easy way out, which is easy enough to do if you're not in the right frame of mind. You could try doing it with a couple of mates who are really stubborn/proud and won't give in if someone else hasn't. That way you'll all push each other that level or two more. Just a thought.

Mitch,

http://www.defence.gov.au/army/hq8bde/jobs/fitness.htm

Right click either the .wav, or the .wma and save as. Left click to hear it through quicktime player.

Cheers.

No offence taken mate. Yeh was pissed off with myself too. I havent been in the right frame of mind really this week, ive had some good scores but i think my minds on my injuries at the moment, which are pissing me off. As for the PRMC ive got two and a half weeks left and im just training crazy. Need to focus more. And i think that your right i need to compete with other mates. Im training with a couple of mates tommorrow so thats good.

12.2 is really good though don't forget, and on the day im sure you'l have loads of adrenaline, and competing with all the other lads is going to help bump up your score.

good luck with your PRMC.

WE EXPECT A DIARY lol

Dont worry mate ive learnt alot of stuff from this website which i wouldnt otherwise have known. And i would probably be up shit creek at the moment without it. So a long diary will be in order after my PRMC.
