Treadmill

Post by MarkBunt »

i had a thread about running/swimming in RM sections but this is just a general query.. is running on a treadmill the same as i dont think it is but my work-out mate does, he thinks put it on an incline and it will do the same job as running the streets?

No it's not and the simplest way to prove this to yourself beyond all doubt is to test the theory. Run 3 miles on the treadmill then three miles on the road the next day . . . . and then tell your mate he's a wally.

The only people I know who run on a treadmill are crap at running

haha you kidding , your mates a walt . Running on the road is far more beneficial and harder then running on a treadmill. Lets face it on a treadmill you just keep up with the belt :o on the road theres inclines all over the place , and your having to keep you self going.
