In a rush

Post by Paulc83 »

I know i should be doing a search but i have my prmc on tues which many of you know consists of an interview. Can some one please tell me where abots each commando brigade are serving at the moment and also what ships the navy use that the marines will serve on.
Also feel free to add any info that i also might need to know the answer to.

I have been doing seraches but trying to cram other stuff in to the o'l memory bank like the VC's and general history.

Any help would be much appreciated thanks

And you've left it til now?... :-?

Something I think posted by JCAP:

VC winners (Hunter, Finch)
The 4 commando tests (Endurance course/ 9 mile speedmarch/ 30 miler/ tarsan assault course)
What part of the course did you find particularly hard?
What is the latin motto? -"Per Mare Per Terram" and what does it mean? (By Sea By Land)
The main assault rifle used by any Royal Marine - SA80a2
What are/ where are the 3 commandos based Taunton, Plymouth and Arbroath
Just Lie back and think of England.

Yeah my bad, i thought it best to cram info in a few days before going down that way it would be fresh in my swede. Obviously i know most of it as i was asked for my interview. It was just where the three units are stationed at the moment and the naval ships that i wasnt aware of.
Cheers for you help though.

Main things they asked me was what to expect at PRMC and in RT for example what do you need to achieve on the bleep test, and what are the commando tests etc. They're looking for general knowledge of the Corps and also want to check you know what you're putting yourself in for!

The main assault rifle used by any Royal Marine - SA80a2
The SA80 covers a few diffrent weapons including the LSW which is not a rifle so I would think calling it the L85A2 might get an extra mark.
