Sad to say that former Royal Marine Ron Little ( D3 ) crossed the bar on Tuesday 3rd June 03 aged 63.A service for Ron was held at Porchester Crem 0n the 17th June the RMA were present with the Colours of RMA Hayling Island paraded by Pee Wee Hunt.We formed two ranks as His coffin passed so that we were with Him to the end.A female RM Bugler played the Last Post and never before have I heard that played so brilliantly a credit to Her and the RM Band.Portsmouth. Ron was a great Guy with a big heart ,a Guy you could rely on when needed.He served Twice in 45 Cdo and a 3yr stint in 40Cdo.I was an oppo of Rons since 1958 and will miss Him.He leaves a Wife Maxine, Son Carlton, Daughter Tanya and four Grandchildren.May He rest in Peace.Aye.
