Passed PRMC

Post by KJ-Edwards »

Well fellow mfat's, I am glad to say i passed my 21/11/06 PRMC, and have not long been back home.
I Had Jack1988 from MFAT in my room, are room was mad everynight, certainly kept the spirits high, anyway i am not sure if Jack1998 is going to write i diary, if not i will try and post one up soon when i have some spear time.

For now i will just post my scores, to let use know what got me that PASS.

3miler: PASS
Bleep Test: 11.7
Pressups: 53
Situps: 71
Pullups: 5
Bottom field: 3:36 (please bear in mind, this is conducted after loads of warm up, loads and loads of it)

Just a little advice for now, do not give up no matter how much pain your are in, it will soon end, bottom field was the worst pain i have ever experienced, as it all lasted about 3hours (no lie). Death / Commando slide was so fun.. * Bend .......... Stretch* :D

Oh Jack1988 is a small lad, but a beast, he maxed out on the tests highly.
I will let him share hes achievements with you.

Well done Jack, cya soon in RT.

Thank you so much MFAT for helping me in everyway thought possible, and also the members, as without them there would be no posts :D

Great work mate,

I have a little more faith in passing PRMC now.

Looking forward to seeing the diary.

I wonder how many applicants go to PRMC without any help from MFAT actually pass?
Just Lie back and think of England.

Alright Kyle, i think the Cpl only called me a machine, and a racing snake, not a beast :P

I'll just join in this thread to say i've passed.

KJ i'll let yourself write a dairy, as i won't have a chance to for a few days, don't forget the chocolate buttons :D

Overall it was quite draining, but anyone who is worrying about the 3 miler, and is reasonable at running (can do a sub 7 mile over a few miles) then you will have no drama, it was just a trot all the way round, the couple of sprints at the warm up were the hardest part, which wasn't much.

My scores were:

Bleep test level: 13 (nobody told us to stop so we kept running for a couple after this aswell!)
Press ups : 73
Sit ups : 96
Pull ups : 6
Assault course, i wasn't given a time and i didn't ask, the Cpl just said it was sh*t, i had to do the rope crossing again.

If you are fit enough you will pass, thats if you have it between your ears.

I need to go to bed now, but i've just got in, i'm still abit drunk, and my lock on my door is broke, so i need to smash my door down to sleep :o

Hopefully get the same RT as you Kyle, and the others in our room, i could imagine some good times would be had!

Hello Jack, I am still a bit achey, starting a new programme tomorrow though, just brakeing in my boots at the moment.

How are you?

hahaha, chocolate bottons and shaving foam, oh yeah and PARCEL TAPE :D

Yeah sure i will finish the diary tonight, as i have already started it, its not gonna be perfect but i will try my best and Jack can add to it.

Yeah would be so good if we did. I am going to phone AFCO tomorrow and get my date, as when i called friday my WO was on holiday, so i am going to have to speak to someone that is taking hes place, as i really want a Jan Start.
