upper body

Post by iareglenn »

At the moment im doing 100 press ups and 100 sit ups every morning and two upper body weight sessions a week, the first two weeks i saw quite a good increase in press ups, sit ups and pull ups. But in the last two weeks theres been no improvement. Anyone got any ideas on how i could change this for maximum results?

try changing your routine.

shock your body and it will adapt for results.

Every so often show somebody you know how many you can do, you should stick on a few because you don't want to look bad. Thats how I got to my 80's

Same thing which is missing from a lot of routines it seems, proper REST and RECOVERY. You can't expect to thrash the same muscles every 24 hour period in the same way. Maybe try every other day, or two days on then one day off. Without rest your gains will diminish then you might start going backwards. Or injured. Which is worse...
