What kind of PT gear can we wear on PRMC?
I was just wondering if we can wear vests for PT, as in the PRMC kit list it just says "At least 2 sets of sports clothing or track-suit, shorts, running shoes (trainers) for PT".
If anyone has been on a PRMC where they or another candidate was wearing a vest in PT would 100% reasure me if we are allowed, as i would rather wear a vest then a t-shirt.
Thanks.
Oh yeah bearing off the post subject, i got one more week to train for my PRMC, and i was thinking of beasting it, and having no rest days besides the 3 you are meant to have before attending CTCRM. So should i continue my usual rest days or workout all week, as have a relax down on the 3 days prior?

No need for tracksuits of any kind, you can loaf in your grots in a tracksuit but all PT is done in shorts, bottom field and 3 milers is done in DPM combats and rugby shirts. If you try to wear chavvy tracksuits to the Galley (food hall) the chef will give you a telling off, best not upset the chef.digitalfreefall wrote:My PRMC is in January, will the 3 miler and bottom field be in shorts and Tshirt or will we be allowed tracksuitsim guessing tracksuits are wishfull thinking on my part.
I just took 2 pairs of urban/combat trousers. Others had jeans and a few got away with trackie bottoms, but no hoodies or full tracksuits in the Galley. You only wear civvy clothes for tests, presentations and evening loafing, so you can get away with two pairs of combats/trousers/jeans. when I say combats I don't mean DPM's!.
Take at least 4 pairs of boxers or pants, I only had 3 pairs and had to wash them twice. Make sure you have running shoes and not poncy fashion shoes. If you trainers look cool then they are not running shoes!

Good plan. The corporal pulled two lads out of the crowd after the 3 miler and slagged their trainers off.Rompton wrote:id better break out the silver shadows then.
Corporal talking to recruit: "These trainers look like the type usually worn by drug dealers selling gear on a council estate, is this what you do for a living?". Recruit replied with "No corporal!"

You will die in any of the gym tests if you wear joggers, As DaveB said, within 2 mins you will be hanging out your backside, and dragging a pair of soaking wet trousers around the gym for an hour will not help. Remember you can only drink when they say, oversweating in any kind of trousers could seriously hinder your performance, only poncy bodybuilders where trousers to a gym anyway!KJ-Edwards wrote:So can we wear jogging bottoms or tracksuit bottoms during Gym tests or just shorts?
Also wearing a vest doesn't mean your "gay" or look like a guy, although some guys do look stupid in them. I wear vest all the time, an find that there comfortable and best to train in.KJ
Vests are fine
