Anyone heard from him? He started training in September I think, just wondered how he was getting on...contact is pretty hard from out here! Drop me a PM if you know how he'd doing...cheers.

He started on the 18th September so by my reckoning that puts him at about week 8/9.

Very much doubt that he's got time to get on here while he's down there.

Just wondered, he'd have had one long weekend and there's plenty of net access there. Not to worry, I'll catch up with him at some stage.

Still here mate!! Enjoying it loads in a kind of sick way.lol. Just come off of Hunters Moon and survival Ex which was quite hard, but fun as well. Ile PM you, just in case you don't get this.

Anyone have any questions about the first 10 weeks, fire away and I will do my best to answer.

Yer it is, you do find yourself thinking 'what the fark am i doing here', but then something funny happens and you remember what its all about. Its hard but progressive, you will never get told to do anything you can't do, if you can't do it, its because you have the wrong mindset.

Just keep your head down and learn to love your iron. The first 3 weeks are hard because its just really boring stuff, but all you got to remember is that the rest of training isn't like that at all, just like we keep getting told that training is nothing like the actual career.

I *think* he means having loads of inspections, doing everything in doublequick time, getting shouted out lots etc etc isnt like how it will be when you pass out of training and get posted to your regiment.

I only think that beause we were told the same thing in army training.
