Well, it's sure been a while but at last, I start RT on Monday. I am very nervous about it but am also really excited. I am doing what I have wanted to do all my life and it starts on Monday!
I've been here since 2003 and if I hadn't found this place, I am pretty sure I would have failed my first PRMC due to not knowing anything about the prmc or how to train for it.
You lads have been awesome. There have been some times where I have felt REAL low because of my injury, but you all helped me through it with all your help and support. I really appreciate all the nice comments and pm's you people have given me.
During the longterm injury I had, I daily thought to myself if I would ever get over this injury....but I did, and I passed another PRMC
It goes to show lads, if you want it that much, you WILL get in. No matter how unfit you currently are, if you put your mind to it 110%, you will succeed.
Look at me, firstly I was in hospital, almost paralyzed, then 8 months later I had passed my first prmc. Then after 14 months injured I had lost all my fitness and worked from scratch again and passed another prmc. Give it your all lads
People with injuries. No matter how big you think it is, keep with it lads. I know it is hard and you question yourself if it will ever get better.....it will. The body is an awesome bit of kit....you will get better, just dont give up hope.
Well, I'm baffleing now so I will say my goodbyes. I hope I dont get the MFAT curse that a few lads from here has gotten so far! haha.
All the best lads, I'll be back to keep you updated on how it's going.
Dave
