I have absolutely no idea, but from what I remember you have plenty of time to get rid of them before your medical don't you?!

It's not as if it's a big deal, just get your self down to your GP and get them removed, I read that they usually go away by themselves anyway.

I dont remember the doc asking me about STI's/STD's during my initial medical. But as long as you get them cleared up before the examination it shouldn't eb a problem but he may ask you about them if he notices during the testicular/hernia check. Id follow the advice and go to the relevant clinic before arranging your marines medical.

Kind regards

I would imagine you will be told to get it sorted out before you are accepted but it should be easily treated at a STD clinic.
If you worried about going into one you really dont need to sweat about it mate, its no big deal and everyone there is in the same boat.
The Doctors have seen it all and anything you have isnt going to shock them, better a few minutes of mild embarrasment than a lifetime with a cauliflower cock

The worst thing that will happen is getting a small umberella rammed down your japseye and thats far better than finding out further down the road that you have something permanent.
I learned my lesson after getting chlamydia off a 'respectable' girl.
Rubber up before you start your engines gentlemen.

Keeping it in your pants is not the problem, it's sleeping with dodgy birds and not wearing a condom that leads to this young man!. I see from your profile that you are still in school, you should be able to get to a sexual health clinic like the others said without your parents knowing etc if that is what you were also worried about. Good luck, I am sure you will be fine.

Wise man. Learn it well.

Dan, we've all been there (well, some of us). Clinic is probably a better option than the above, but the good news is that in the vast majority of cases the immune system gets rid of the virus in 1-2 years, so it ain't permanent. The bad news is, y'know, 1-2 years. Until then, go to clinic now, then get checked up every 6 months or so, and for gods sake pad your wallet and use it until you are clear.

I can't see them even delaying your application for it though, it won't affect your performance or ability to survive training.

Get a 100% check for any other STDs. Like HIV. You never know.
