Others have asked this question before so it's useful to use the search button. But on my interview most of the questions were regarding my life, family/friends/schooling/cadet experiences. Nothing too probing. A bit a about my family/home life. Financial past/previous employment.
Make sure you know:
Basic 3 commando brigade structure.
Pay and conditions of service
Corps Major general.
Current deployments
Structure of Commando training.

These were just a few of the things I was asked, but it primarily focused on my background and family as i said.
Use this sites search function for more info from previous threads.

Be on time, smart and confident.
Best of luck!

This is kind of commen sense really, but go dressed up, shirt tie etc etc. I went in combats and rugby top 'cough' and a comment was passed about how other people were dressed to impress. So trousers and shirt, even a suite if you got one.

hey buddy, its good to hear you want to join, if anything my advice to you is to brush up on your knowledge of the marines, knows mainly where the commandos bases are located and some of the attached regiments to the marines, i was asked this. Know the basic weapons that they use, know the badge (globe and laurel), know where the marines are operating, most of this stuff can be found on the official website. But when you go make sure that you speak with confidence, and dress smart as darren said, because first impressions are alway lasting!

During my interview I was asked a lot about my secondary school even though I had finished my gcse's 3 years ago and had been to college and was working. I thought that quite odd but I'm sure there was a reason for this.
