you're kidding

was his injury as a result of enemy fire or the sheer amount of press ups and sit ups he was doing every day?

Nah, he caught that disease that's going round walts at the minute.

Terminalbullsh*titis. Terrible illness to have. Only cure is to be made into a PTI's bitch for three days. After that the symptoms never present themselves again.

So he went to Iraq to work with the SAS as a sniper on a classified mission before completing training?

Clever lad isn't he. With that kind of luck he should start buying lottery tickets

Anyway this guy starts on Monday telling everyone he was in the Marine training but had to drop out due to injury. I spy a potential training partner and source of information so I make conversation. I have found out some very interesting things.

To get in the Marines you have to do 200 press ups in a minute followed by 200 sit ups. You also have to do a one hundred metre sprint with rifle and webbing in under eleven seconds. I was mightily impressed. Clearly getting in the marines is harder than I thought. I ask about bottom field. All I get is a blank look.

I ask my new friend how he came by his injury. It is a heart wrenching tale. It turns out my friend was very good in training because he was asked to train as a sniper. He was therefore taken out halfway through training to train as asniper. After doing his snipers training in Dortmund he was sent to Iraq, where he spent time with the SAS. He unfortunatly could not tell me the exact details of this injury because its 'classified.'

However he will be returning to Lympstone to complete his training as soon as he has recovered.

By the way he cannot work weekends for me because he plays professional football.

What a guy!
 Can't tell you the best walt story I know but a good friend of mine who is very much in the know about such things told me he knew this guy who was a Para but not SF. Anyway he got invited to this guy's house to to his disbelief was a portait of the guy in full SAS uniform on the wall. He didn't think the same about that person again

Thats insane  You should mess with him for a few weeks, let him dig his own hole then expose him as a walter, what a twat LMAO

Remember to ask him about slaughtering cows in survival training and making badger pelt coats using your own pubic hair as thread.

The one thing you can usually count on with most walts is when they lie they lie BIG!

I don't understand it really, not really the fact they make up stories I can see why they do that, but I can't for the life of me understand why they make their stories so obviously untrue if he'd have toned it down a bit he might have gotten away with it but they just can't help themselves they have to make it sound incredible even someone who know's nothing about the military could spot him as a fake in about 2 seconds.

Sad, sad, pathetic, little man.

There's a relatively easy thing you can do if you are not sure another friend of mine was being tall tales, or so he thought... so he made a call to the director of special forces with the name of the person concerned and sure enough WALT!! :o
