Become A Royal Marines Commando?

Hey, I just clicked on the ad for this area of the forum about the "How To Become" thing and was wondering if it actually is as helpful as it makes out to be as I am fairly interested in it... + i want a new t-shirt

Has anyone purchased it before? I was thinking of buying the £14.99 one as it got everything by the looks of it.

i bought this a few months back and its not all that good to be honest. like brian- said, you can get everything you need to know via these forums, so dont waste £15 on info that you can get here, for free!

it's pretty simple how you become a royal marine, don't spend £15 so that someone can tell you what you already know, anyway on this forum you are getting all the inside info from people who passed PRMC and who are doind their RT, you can't get any better info than that

I bought this ages ago.
It's got a lot of useful information in it but after reading it you realise it was all really common sense. Like everyone else has said these forums contain everthing in there and more.
Plus the T shirt was about 20 sizes too big!

I think so, half of the label was cut off so hard to say for sure. It was just a plain black T shirt that would be fine for sweating in if it fit! The Mrs wears it to bed now though so at least it has some use.

Im glad that I bought the cd-rom but like everyone said i didnt think it told me anything i didnt already know.

You can get all the info off websites and forums.

p.s i got a navy tshirt and was happy with it i wore it to work to sweat in but it went purple in the wash...it went straight in the bin!!!!

Just wondering lads, but it says PRMC diaries of people who have passed.....for people who have this, does it have Gippers or My diaries in it? Or is it someone elses?

Can't remember it having a diary in it to be honest. I haven't looked at it for ages though so I may be wrong. Also, I've had it for ages so I don't know if they've added to it since then.

Well maybe they gave out XXXL for a reason. Its a bit annoying when you see a civvy wearing a 'Royal Marines Commando' t shirt out and about.

For your information(ooh get me ), even the lads in training arent supposed to wear them, they always wear the Royal Marines tops, but never the Commando ones until theyve passed the tests. (or if they do theyre bellends )

Its like lads wearing the old 'God is Airborne, he failed the commando tests' ones and they havent even passed their BST
