Me bones click

Post by Stinky »

Couldn't find it in the search. When I do squats, my knee clicks. Does anybody else get this, I'm worried I might be damaging my knee. And does anybody know how to get rid of it?
Thanks

Mine click, twang, and creek all the time if i'm doing something like squats. Don't think it's anything too worry about too much. My right knee hurts when I run aswell for the first 15 mins or so. Think it may have something to do with one leg being an inch shorter than the other.

That's air bubbles in the cartlidge. It is very common and shouldnt cause any pain (I have the same).

If you have any worries, see your GP.

Twang and Kapow are trademarks of my left and right elbows, especially when doing bench presses. I did bring it up once at the doctors, and he said there was nothing to worry about. So you should be ok... but of course - if it starts sounding pretty grim (by which i mean, door creaking, or kid screaming) - best to get it checked. You will get it all checked in your medical anyway, so its better to sort any problems now rather than later.

Sure its nothing mate, if you spend an hour with me doing bench presses / squats, we could probably formulate a little tune out of them.

Don't be such worry warts... The question was danger-close to "if I belch, fart and cough at the same time, am I gonna die?"

I get this quite a lot when doing squats etc as well, sometimes get a bit of pain but only the first times, as far as I know its just trapped air, cod liver oils quite good for it I've used it before when I was gettin quite worried about how much my knee's were clicking, especially when I got asked by the doctor on my medical if I'de ever had problem with one of my knees! I hadnt which was quite strange and made me wonder why he'd asked but didnt ask anything about it, my mate who's a bootneck used to have his elbow crack when he did press ups and he said it just suddenly dissapeared one day when he was doing them now they dont click when he does them, I think its when you start using them a bit they tend to release the pressure build up from in between your joints? I'm no doctor but I wouldnt worry about it too much to be honest.
